We critique the system, not the individual for the struggles that are imposed as a result of the 1% making decisions that leave the most vulnerable to fend for themselves.
You may have heard that with the government shutdown, SNAP benefits are running out and there will not be anything left for November. This means many people are going to be struggling to feed themselves and their friends and families.
Are you part of Colorado Springs? Can you make a donation of food or monetary donation to help us support our community this month?
Food to serve at our regular Distro's:
Hot Dogs
Chicken Patties
Rice and Lentils
Coleslaw
Fruit
Non-Perishable Foods and Meals:
Mac n Cheese bowls
Crackers
Rice Packages
Canned Foods (chicken, chili, tuna, vegetables, fruit, chef boyardee,) (cans with pop tops are preferred!!)
Please reach out with questions! We can direct you on how to make sure your donations reach us.
You can support us through monetary donations too. Our union can put every donation to good use!
When we nurture each other, we nurture our future for the good of everyone.
