We can give any that haven’t found a forever home yet, one that they are treated as family and have a great quality of life, not just a kennel and run. We stand for putting an end to the war, pursue with law enforcement every case of abuse and neglect, while pressing charges, attending court to put a stop to this circle of pain. We want to see a day that we are no longer needed. We fight for these poor babies; we won’t give up no matter how hard and long the battle is.

I LOOK LIKE THIS SO THEY CAN LOOK LIKE THIS. 🖤🐾

All we have is time.

And I’d rather spend mine taking terrified, broken dogs that we, as a human race, have already let down and giving them more of it.

More time by getting them off a euthanasia list.
More time to decompress.
More time to learn that humans can be safe.
And more of my time making damn sure that when they leave WRS, they’re going somewhere worthy of them.

Would you hand your own dog to a stranger you’ve never met because they sounded nice on the phone and their house looked good over a video call?

No?

Then WTF makes anyone think I’m going to do that with a WRS pup?

When I say these dogs are family, I mean it.
When I say they’re mine until they’re yours, I mean that too. And even then they are still mine 😅 jk

So yes, I’ve driven over 40 hours in the last three days.

Yes, I have absolutely no idea how much sleep I have—or haven’t—gotten. 😂

Yes, I probably look like I’ve been personally victimized by every interstate between here and wherever the hell I am today.

But look at them.

I look like this so THEY can look like this.

Safe.
Relaxed.
Loved.
Home.

I will lose sleep. I will drive the miles. I will rearrange plans. I will show up in person and make sure the human on the other end of that application is someone I can trust with a life we fought damn hard to save.

Because rescue isn’t finished when we pull them off the euthanasia list.

We finish the job when we know they’re safe.

Apparently Gooby decided $5 Fridays were a success, so naturally he has appointed himself permanently in charge. 👑🐾

Boss Man is back and would like everyone to know:

WRS family, we have ANOTHER local business we need you to show some serious love because Pearce Automotive Super Service Center is a HUGE supporter of WRS! 🐾🚗

This husband-and-wife team are absolute ROCKSTARS.

They do amazing quality work on pretty much anything vehicle-related AND understand that most of us would prefer NOT to take out a second mortgage or sell our firstborn just to keep our car on the road. 😂

But our love for them goes way beyond vehicles.

They are WRS FAMILY. 🌹

They adopted one of our very first rescue pups, our special-needs girl Miss Jade, who we absolutely adore. 🥹💙

Most of you haven’t met the newest superhero who’s joined the WRS girl gang…
Noa — the woman Rogue and Cindy swear is an angel in human form. 😇🐾What she’s brought to our rescue is the kind of magic small rescues dream of.

She’s basically another Rogue — no distance too far, no pup too urgent, no mission too big. 🚗💨💙
If a dog needs saving, she drops everything and goes.

And the amount of people willing to help her? It tells you everything… she’s the real deal. ✨

Behind the scenes, she’s constantly busy — coordinating, networking, pulling pups, helping shelters nationwide. 🌎🐾
But she’s also out front doing meet‑n‑greets, helping new adopters with training tools, and setting families up for a successful forever. 🐶💗

And yes… she’s a military woman, and it shows.
Her communication? Spot‑on.
Her punctuality? Immaculate.
Her follow‑through? Flawless.
She does what she says she’s gonna do — and she’d never ask anyone to do something she wouldn’t do herself. 💪🇺🇸🐾

💗🐾✨🚗💙 Superwoman Loaded the Crates… and Left Cindy Unsupervised 😅

And she is OFF… again.

Yup — Rogue, our Superwoman packed her tiny lil’ bag 👜, stacked those giant crates like she was playing rescue‑themed Tetris 🧩, and hit the road last night headed straight for Memphis, TN. She’s on another life‑saving mission to scoop up urgent souls who need WRS magic ASAP. 💙🐾

Not only are these sweet babies coming into WRS, but Winnie already has a foster‑to‑adopt family waiting in Colorado Springs 🏔️… and our big handsome boy Major (formerly Bojart) has a foster‑to‑adopt mama eleven hours up into Wyoming 🐾💙.
Because of course he does — Rogue only brings home the premium stories. 🤷‍♂️

So basically:
Rogue = Superwoman. 🦸‍♀️💙
No distance too far.
No pup too complicated.
No rescue too wild.
If a dog needs saving, she’s already halfway there with snacks, a playlist, and a crate. 🎶🐶🚗

She won’t be back until Monday, which means…💅

Cindy, Noadiah and the rest of the WRS girl gang are running home base.
We’re juggling, organizing, coordinating, and probably drinking enough caffeine to power a small city ☕⚡.
