Carbon Cut Colorado

Carbon Cut Colorado Reduce your carbon footprint and make a community impact.

Carbon Cut Colorado makes it possible for you to balance your carbon by funding energy efficiency work that is done for low-income families. Carbon Cut Colorado is reducing the overall carbon impact of our state and making it possible for everyone to breathe a little easier. Each donation made through the site funds critical energy-efficiency work done for free for low-income families. Many of the

families we help live in older, inefficient homes that draw more from the power grid and waste more energy than the alternative. By replacing inefficient appliances, upgrading equipment, and improving the efficiency of these homes, we lessen energy waste and improve the safety and comfort of the house itself. On average, 3,755 lbs of carbon are stopped from entering the atmosphere for each home that is completed upgraded. Additionally, the families utility bills may be reduced which frees up money for other necessities like medication or groceries. Balance your carbon impact and improve life for families right here in Colorado by making your donation today.

Today, we celebrate Earth Day. As Colorado continues to battle air pollution, we work hard daily to reduce the carbon footprint of every home served. Collectively each year, we prevent about 3.4 millions pounds of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere through work on approximately 1,000 homes across 27 counties. This is accomplished through insulation, air sealing, weather stripping, light bulbs, efficient furnaces and more. The efforts reduce the demand on coal-fired power plants, allowing all Coloradans to breathe a little easier.

Thank you for caring for the planet!
