This morning I drove to Macon to receive a donation from the Ga VFW Auxiliary. We were the Presidents special project and they raise money for us all year long. Thank you very much . Now I'm spending the afternoon at Operation Rally Point.

UPDATE: I'm always amazed at the wisdom Abby brings to the table and I am always renewed, with a better perspective, when we get together.
In our discussion about Timber, his issues and what its going to take to get him through his anxiety and claustrophobia issues, I made the comment we always seem to get horses with some kinda of issue similar to Timber. Tucker, Chance, Spirt, Ki and they all ended up great horses, Abby mentioned that God put things our our path for a reason. The approach to working with these horses is the same approach as working with our Veterans, First Responders and trauma survivors. Seems that's what God had in mind for me.

We have great news; we had so much fun at the cookout earlier this month, that we're hosting another one on July 31st! This one will be held at Across the Bridge in Lawrenceville, GA from 5-7pm. Just like the last cookout, we will provide the hotdogs and hamburgers, and if anyone would like to bring a side or desert, it is appreciated but not required. This event is open to all veterans and their families, and we hope to see a lot of faces, old and new!
