Mark your calendars! This Tuesday, April 21, we'll be hosting: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿. This free educational event is designed for caregivers who are supporting someone living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other memory-related conditions.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂:
▪️Gain a clearer understanding of Alzheimer’s disease, including its progression and stages of the disease
▪️Learn practical communication strategies to help reduce stress and confusion
▪️Understand the care and services available to you throughout the caregiving journey
▪️Recognize caregiver fatigue and identify healthy coping strategies and sources of support

Our residents enjoyed a afternoon of making some delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies!

All of our residents have early to mid-stage dementia, so our staff and their families, and the families of our residents, teamed up to raise money and participate in Saturday’s Alzheimer’s Walk at Siena. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we raised about $12,000 to help support the Alzheimer’s Association!
