Somehow the strays always find me. This sweet guy showed up at my house and has tried to make himself at home. VERY friendly, not scared of dogs barking at him. He is or was someone's pet. However, he is NOT neutered. Does anyone recognize him? Baileys Crossroads Rd and Red Hill Church Rd, Coats, NC area.

Mush was adopted from me in 2023 along with his brother. They got along great for awhile but now Mush doesn't like his brother anymore. His adopter has done everything she can think of to keep the peace between the 2 of them but it's just not working and thinks it's best if Mush finds a new home where he will be comfortable and happy.
Mush is a very friendly cat towards people. He's sweet, curious, playful and very loving.
If you or someone you know needs this sweet boy in your life please message me. Mush is 3 years old, is updated on all vaccines and neutered.

*** Closed for Intake***
It breaks my heart to have to make this post, but at this time I am closed for taking in new kittens or cats.
I receive requests every single day to take in kittens, and saying "no" is one of the hardest parts of rescue. Unfortunately, I have reached the point where I simply cannot continue to do so. I do not have the funds or space.
On average, it costs around $200 per kitten for veterinary visits, vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, food, litter, and other supplies before they are ready for adoption. For a long time, I have been covering these expenses out of my own pocket because donations have been zero. While I have always been happy to help, I can no longer afford to continue doing this on my own.
Right now, my priority has to be providing the best possible care for the animals already in my rescue. Taking in more animals without the resources to care for them would not be fair to them or to the ones already depending on me.
If you have found kittens, please contact your local animal shelter, other rescue organizations, or see if friends or family are able to help or foster them while you search for placement.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my rescue over the years. I truly wish I could save every kitten, but I have to be responsible and recognize my limits. I appreciate your understanding and hope to reopen intake when funding and space allows.

💔 RATT IS STILL WAITING...
This sweet little guy was supposed to go to his new home today, but his adopter never showed up. HE IS THE LAST KITTEN LEFT AND IS BY HIMSELF!
A little while later, I found him wrapped up in his blanket, waiting patiently for someone to come get him. My heart absolutely broke.
Ratt didn't do anything wrong. He's a loving, adorable kitten who deserves a family that will show up for him and love him forever.
🖤 Meet Ratt • 10 weeks old, Sweet and affectionate • Playful and curious • Ready to start his next chapter with someone who won't let him down
Please share this post and help me find the family that Ratt deserves. Sometimes the right home just takes a little longer to find.
If you're interested in adopting Ratt, send me a message for more information.
