The Scratchin Post The Scratchin' Post is a nonprofit feline rescue and animal sanctuary run by Cathy Briggs in Coats NC.

Our goal is to help as many animals in need as possible and educate the public on animal welfare and the importance of spaying and neutering.

This is a courtesy post! Sriracha aka Surry will be ready for adoption June 5th when she turns 8 weeks old. Surry was found as a stray. Look at her coloring! This little girl is gorgeous! She has a bobbed tail! She will come with her 1st vaccine, deworming an flea treatment. Litter box trained! Adopter must fill out an application through The Scratchin Post. Message me your email address if you are interested. Adoption fee is $40

Marigold got spayed last week. She has her surgery suit on, hiding behind the toilet and she's still not having it! She's still hissing when I pet her. Is there anyone out there that is willing to take on a challenge and tame this beautiful cat? Orange females are rare! I don't want to put her back outside. She has potential but it's going to take alot of time and patience with her. She doesn't trust humans at all. If you think you are the person for her please message me. If you aren't that person, please share! I have paid out of my pocket for her spay, vaccines, deworming and flea treatment. No adoption fees for the right person.
