Continuing with our wish to express our gratitude to all those who work WITH us regularly, have a look at what some of our favorite Fresno Humane Animal Services people do to help GET THINGS DONE for dogs! Meeting me early on a recent morning to bring in a pit bull girl for spay surgery at HOPE Animal Foundation clinic after this dog ended up in their shelter. The goal is to re-unite her quickly with her owners who love her, are unhoused, and want better for her.

Your support, as I was sharing with friends at our Breakfast for Dinner event last night, lets us keep helping dogs like Angela, whose devoted human dad has always loved and cared properly for his dogs. He took Angela out of an abusive and neglectful situation. When he asked for help to get her spayed, we said YES!! He asked me to thank "all the people who helped" make this happen. Sometimes those who have very little material wealth are those who live with the most heart!---Karen

Thanks again to the dedicated and generous crew at the Starbucks store at Shaw Ave. and Freeway 41 in Fresno TNR for brewing the coffee for last night's BREAKFAST FOR DINNER gathering. We are grateful to your store manager for donating this coffee to us AND grateful to the individual crew members who donated bags of various coffee varieties which made such nice raffle prizes for our supporters!

This is Bandit, a beautiful girl I visited with this morning. Come to the 9th annual Westside Rescue BREAKFAST FOR DINNER event tonight and meet Bandit's dad, who we are honoring for his fierce dedication to helping me to reach many dogs whose unhoused human companions need help to get these great dogs spayed and neutered. Very inspired. Don't judge me if I get teary-eyed. We made some real progress in 2026!--- Karen
