🪨✨ Michigan Rock of the Week: Unakite
Unakite is a beautiful rock made of green epidote and pink feldspar 🌿🌸, creating its signature two-tone appearance.
🌎 It is commonly found in Michigan’s glacial deposits, carried and deposited by ancient glaciers thousands of years ago.
✨ Because of its bold colors, Unakite is often polished and used in jewelry and lapidary work.
Each piece is completely unique, making it a favorite among collectors and rockhounds.
Have you ever found or worked with Unakite? 👇
