Today was one of those days that reminds us exactly what this place is all about. ❤️

Thank you to all of our members, volunteers, and patrons who came out and supported us today. Whether you helped cook, served food, cleaned up, donated, or simply showed up to spend time with us we appreciate every single one of you more than you know.

Seeing our post filled with laughter, conversation, support, and community means everything. It takes all of us to keep this place going, and today was a beautiful reminder of the kind of family we have here at VFW Post 523.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for continuing to support our veterans, our post, and each other. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we pause not to celebrate, but to remember.

Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication will never be forgotten.

At Veterans of Foreign Wars post 523, we remember the fallen, stand beside their families, and continue the promise that their legacy lives on through all of us.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, we ask everyone to take a moment of reflection for those who never made it home. Freedom is not free, and Memorial Day serves as a reminder of the true cost paid by so many.

From all of us at the Post, thank you to our fallen heroes, our veterans, and the families who carry their memory every day. 🇺🇸
