Spring field trips at City Green! 282 local students from grades Pre-K through 5th have joined us at the Farm Eco-Center, the Learning Garden at Eastside Park, and Weasel Brook Community Garden for school field trips, City Green style​​ 🤩 Through hands-on experience in the gardens, students learned about planting and composting, created fresh, seasonal recipes to taste-test, and discovered the magic of spring in the garden. Farm Campers ages 8-10 can attend Session 2 from July 21st - July 31st - Ages 8-10
Farm Campers ages 10-12 can attend Session 3 from August 4th - August 14th - Ages 10-12

Attention Paterson Camp Groups…

Now is the time to register for the upcoming Garden Camp season at the Learning Garden in Eastside Park! Campers will enjoy the season in the beautiful children’s garden setting and learn about food and nature with us. 🍅🌿

Introducing the City Green Seed Lending Library! 🌱🌰

The City Green Seed Lending Library is a “little library” containing seeds that can be exchanged throughout the community. Located at the Farm Eco-Center in Clifton, the Seed Lending Library contains a variety of vegetable seeds, including many of the varieties we use on our farms! 

Seed Lending Libraries support communal seed exchanging, strengthen the local food system, promote biodiversity, and allow for greater food sovereignty and agency among local growers. 

We’re excited to share this new Seed Lending Library with you! Visitors can stop by the library during our open public hours at the Farm Eco-Center, Monday - Thursday from 9AM - 4PM and Friday from 9AM - 3PM.
