Student achievement deserves to be celebrated in big ways!

The Missouri Seal of Biliteracy recognizes graduating seniors who demonstrate proficiency in English and a language other than English, along with sociocultural competence through a DESE-approved program. This impressive achievement reflects strong communication skills, academic dedication, and the ability to connect across cultures.

This year, Mrs. Young asked Mr. Casey for a permanent sign honoring Clever students who have earned this distinction—and he was quick to make it happen! Thank you, Mr. Casey, for helping give these students lasting recognition, and congratulations to all our Seal of Biliteracy recipients! We can't wait to continue adding names to this sign!

🚔🍦 Clever PD Sticker Patrol is here! 🍦🚔

The Clever Police Department is excited to launch our new Sticker Patrol program! Kids can collect all four Junior Officer stickers Blue, Red, Green, and Pink by interacting with Clever PD officers around the community.

Once all four colors are collected, they can earn a FREE scoop of ice cream from Bluejay Scoops!

We want to give a special thank you to Bluejay Scoops for partnering with us and supporting positive interactions between our officers and the children in our community.

Keep an eye out for Clever PD officers around town and start your collection!

We'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate our PAT Parent Educator/Program Supervisor, Regina Gohr! After a rigorous application process, Regina has been chosen to join the DESE Home Visiting Parent Education Support Program as a Missouri Consultant. Now, in conjunction with her current duties with Clever School District, she will also be working on the State Consultant Team to support other school districts in our region to help ensure program fidelity across the state.

Dr. Barber, Mr. Casey, and Mr. Wilson are representing Clever at the Missouri State Teacher Education Career Fair today! They are enjoying meeting future educators and sharing what makes our district special.

We’re always on the lookout for great people to bring the best to Clever students.

So grateful for this amazing group of people who sacrificially gave their time to serve at the JH football game tonight! 🏈💙

A portion of the concession stand proceeds will go toward our local chapter of Care to Learn, making tonight’s service even more meaningful.

Thank you for showing up and serving our school and community! Go Jays! 💙🏈

🎄✨ HELP US LIGHT UP CLEVER! ✨🎄

There’s just something special about driving down Main Street in Clever during the Christmas season and seeing our little town all lit up. But… just like the rest of us, some of our Christmas decorations are getting a little older. Our light pole displays have brought Christmas cheer to Clever for many years, and it’s time to begin replacing them. So, we have an idea — and we want our COMMUNITY to be part of it!

❄️ SPONSOR A SNOWFLAKE – $400 ❄️

Residents, families, businesses, organizations, and friends of Clever will have the opportunity to sponsor a NEW snowflake and have a small recognition sign placed with it. You can sponsor one:

*IN MEMORY OF someone special
*IN HONOR OF someone special
*SPONSORED BY your family, business or organization

Each new snowflake will become part of the Christmas display along Main Street and help keep Clever shining bright for years to come. And because we’re Clever… we think Christmas should look good AND be easy to maintain! All snowflakes will be the same style, making them easier for the City to purchase, install, maintain, and store.
Our hope is that, little by little and light by light, we can replace our 22 aging displays while creating something even more meaningful in the process. Imagine driving down Main Street every Christmas and seeing a beautiful display shining in memory of your parents or grandparents. Imagine telling your kids, "That one's ours!" Or seeing the names of the local businesses and families who helped keep a Clever Christmas tradition shining bright.
If you would like to sponsor a snowflake, simply fill out the sponsorship application and drop it off, along with your $400 payment, at City Hall.
