As we begin the week of global student prayer, I’m grateful for those that made Teen Bible Study + Bonfire a success. This was a long time coming and had setbacks and pivots, but God wanted me to do this—not for me, but for them. It was Destiny CEO Tchiguka first time at one of our Bible studies and it was good to be back with lola ! We had an icebreaker (thanks to walkroyallife) with a prize!! We studied Matthew 19:23-30. My greatest takeaway is knowing these young people are not all at the same place on their faith journey—and they were not afraid to speak up! My prayer for this week is not only the requests they mentioned, but they will want to grow in the Word for understanding and application AND want to do so in community. I’m truly grateful God has me in a position to have a positive impact on this generation.

I didn’t get a chance to remind them about this week or See You at the Pole but I hope they are made aware and are unashamed this week to pray at their flagpoles at school.

Lastly, shout out to FCA Cleveland ! I’ve never met a kid so proud to stand for Jesus in high school. Thank you! You’re necessary.

Mommas Deli did not despite and I’m truly grateful for the support! I appreciate you!

August 1st Chosen Generation participated in Power of 3 foundation Back to School Bash and Family Resource Fair. We had a table to let families know about our age specific Bible studies, fun activities, and service opportunities! Then less than 3 weeks later, one of my college students was in need and Power of 3 foundation stepped up and came through. Thank you to Tia Kline as well for being a blessing. I’m thankful to know you both and am grateful for the work you do and support you give! ♥️♥️♥️

Snuck in here! We are six days in and I forgot to post the August calendar. Thank you to everyone that continues to work with me. I’m not perfect but am still being perfected by God. ♥️

Today, I had my first vendor (is that the right wording) event. DeAnna DeForest had a table at Power of 3 foundation back to school bash and family resource fair and my heart is so full. I never thought I would be here. I just wanted to have a little Bible study at the house and create a space for young people to be free to express their faith with one another. I never thought they’d be enough for people to care about. To sow into. To ask for us to be a vendor. We evolved to a wholistic youth ministry—going beyond the four walls of the church—building the bridge connecting the church, the home, and school.

We were able to not only talk about who we are but to engage with families. Y’all! My heart. Overflowing. I’m grateful for people that see me.

Extra shout out to Katie for stepping up and helping me!! I need the help and I’m grateful for those that can spare some time and share the vision.
