Saint Louis Art Fair presented by Emerson enhances the artistic landscape of St. Louis, offering innovative programs.

The Saint Louis Art Fair Presented by Emerson is a nationally juried fine art and fine craft show consistently ranked as one of the nation’s top fine art fairs. Each year the Saint Louis Art Fair Presented by Emerson is held in the streets of Clayton, Missouri, attracting over 130,000 art enthusiasts to a space filled with quality food, art, and music. The 2025 Saint Louis Art Fair dates:
Friday, September 5 - 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday, September 6 - 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
Sunday, September 7 - 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

With heartfelt appreciation, we announce the upcoming retirement of Sarah Umlauf after eight years as Executive Director of the Saint Louis Art Fair.

Our Board of Directors has launched a national search for Sarah’s successor. To ensure a smooth transition, Sarah will remain in her position through March 31, 2027, or sooner if her successor assumes the position.

Sarah’s transformative leadership, innovative spirit, and dedication to our community have strengthened the Art Fair’s distinguished legacy and positioned the organization for continued success.

Please join us in thanking Sarah for her tremendous contributions and wishing her happiness, adventure, and fulfillment in retirement!

🎨 Our traveling Public Art Collection is now on display at the St. Louis County Library’s Mid-County Branch, where 26 works of art will be on display for the next several weeks!

Did you know? Our Public Art Collection features original artwork purchased from artists at the Saint Louis Art Fair presented by Emerson over the years. The collection travels to libraries, schools, and other community spaces throughout the St. Louis area, bringing art beyond the Fair and making it accessible to everyone, free of charge!

Stop by to explore the collection, discover the talented artists behind the work, and enjoy some incredible art!

🚗 Fun fact: The Mid-County Branch is the only St. Louis County Library location with a free parking garage, so there’s no reason not to stop by!

Our Artists and the incredible work they produce is the best part of the Saint Louis Art Fair presented by Emerson! We’re excited to present the 2026 Award Winners, an honor given at the Artist Award Breakfast sponsored by Hoffmann. These second place, first place, and special award winners earn a cash prize and automatic entry into next year’s Art Fair!

This year, our Best in Show prize went to Jeffrey Zachmann, a spectacular metalworker from Fergus Falls, MN! He creates mesmerizing kinetic sculptures that are hard to take your eyes off of. In case you somehow missed him this year, catch Jeffrey and our other Award Winners at next year’s fair!

What’s all that noise?! This evening, look and listen for a very special parade of Art Fair staff and volunteers as they traverse the fair giving out our 2026 ARTIST AWARDS!

This exciting tradition tells Artists that their work has won an award...but not which one! Tomorrow morning, at the Artist Awards Breakfast sponsored by Hoffmann, they’ll learn who won first and second place awards, the Founder’s Award, Mayor’s Award of Innovation, individual Juror Awards, and BEST IN SHOW!

Last year, Best in Show went to ceramicist John Herbon, who you can find in Booth #548! ALL award winners are granted automatic entry to next year’s Art Fair.

Join the parade tonight, and check out these incredible artists again tomorrow!
