The Saint Louis Art Fair Presented by Emerson is a nationally juried fine art and fine craft show consistently ranked as one of the nation’s top fine art fairs. Each year the Saint Louis Art Fair Presented by Emerson is held in the streets of Clayton, Missouri, attracting over 130,000 art enthusiasts to a space filled with quality food, art, and music. We are excited to be hosting a 2026 Gyo Obata Fellow, Ren Klein!

This summer Ren will be working to create a young professionals group for the Art Fair to engage a new audience and foster the growth of the next generation of art appreciators.

Ren is a recent graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, with a major in Film and Media Studies and a Minor in Linguistics. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, they previously worked as a digital arts educator for low income youth at Venice Arts and currently serve as the lead facilitator for the St. Louis Contact Improv group. They maintain their own artistic practice, which includes photography, filmmaking, and multi-media art.

The Gyo Obata fellowship is a program by the Gateway Foundation designed to promote more diverse voices in arts administration.
