Celebrating Because You Matter is growing, and we need people like YOU to help us continue building our mission! 🎂🎈

Our goal is to create personalized birthday celebrations for children in foster care throughout Oakland County—giving them a day that is completely about THEM and reminding them just how much they matter. 💜

There are several ways you can help:

💛 100 kids. Every month. And the families standing beside them.

At any given time, approximately 300–500 children are in foster care in Oakland County.

That number is part of why Celebrating Because You Matter is being built with the capacity to serve approximately 100 children each month, along with the foster families and siblings who share those special days with them.

And when we say “celebrate,” we mean more than cake and presents. 🎂🎁

We’re creating an experience where children can feel seen, valued and genuinely celebrated. Personalized birthday tables. Gifts chosen specifically for them. Activities and memories. A keepsake reminding them why they matter. And our Essentials Boutique, where families can access everyday necessities while they’re with us.

Even at 100 children per month, there is an enormous need in our own community.

That’s why we’re building this carefully. We want to create something capable of reaching children month after month, birthday after birthday.

Because every one of those numbers represents a child.

And every child deserves to know: You matter. Your birthday matters. And you deserve to be celebrated. 💛🎈

Everything you see in this photo was donated by ONE incredibly generous person who has asked to remain anonymous.

Every single item will go toward stocking our Essentials Boutique, where foster families will be able to access everyday necessities they need for the children in their care.

Diapers. Toiletries. Personal care items. Everyday essentials.

Things that may seem small until you're a foster parent welcoming a child into your home and suddenly need everything.

This donation doesn't just fill bags.

It fills shelves.
It stretches our resources.
It helps us prepare to serve more families.
And most importantly, it reminds the children and families we serve that their community is standing behind them. 💜
