According to the U.S. Department of Labor, April 26 through May 2 is National Apprenticeship Week, and some Clarksburg-based organizations are looking to inspire the next generation of electrical tradesmen and women during this time.

Yesterday representatives from Local 596 and the rest of the building trades were on site for the official groundbreaking at Wolf Summit Energy Center. Wolf Summit will be the first combined-cycle natural gas power plant in WV, set to deliver over 600 megawatts of power to the grid, adding reliability and affordability for years to come. IBEW Local 596 is proud to be part of this project as the power professionals of North Central West Virginia!
