URGENT MESSAGE FROM BOARD PRESIDENT TOM AVERY:

Family Promise of Southwest NJ URGENTLY needs your help! Due to drastic cutbacks in grant funding support, after 20 years of growth in the number of families served, (over 750 in 2024) we are currently facing a severe financial shortfall requiring staff layoffs and a reduction in program services at a time when the need is increasing. As we consolidate operations to bare essentials our ability to assist families in need has been significantly impacted.
Please consider a financial donation to help keep the doors of Family Promise of Southwest NJ open as we continue our quest to identify new, sustainable sources of financial support.
Some of you have already given during our 20 for 20 Fundraising Campaign (celebrating 20 years of service) and we whole heartedly thank you. Help us make a difference in the lives of children experiencing homelessness. We are looking for drivers with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for our minivan school busses to transport school-age children to their respective school districts.

The position is part time and the salary is $23.00 per hour, Monday through Friday. Please contact Elizabeth Huse at [email protected] for more information or how to apply.

Fun fact... 4 years ago, our super leadership team had seniors graduate from Kingsway Regional High School. This past May, we got to celebrate their college graduations together. We are so proud of their accomplishments and cannot wait to see all the great things they will do in the future. Our kids have dedicated a multitude of volunteer hours to serve the mission of Family Promise over the years. They are fun loving, kind, generous, intelligent and most importantly exemplary leaders for future generations. Congratulations Michael Parker, Brianna Peters, and Zach Kazelskis. ❤

Thank you to everyone who adopted one of our 75 families for Christmas this year!Thank you also to Jeff Sanders of St. John of God Community Services Mobile Food Pantry for coming out with fresh produce, bags of canned goods, and bread to help feed our families.
