Claremore Economic Development shares the closure of the Claremore Data Center property transaction, alongside the City of Claremore Government announcement that project agreements outlining infrastructure, financial safeguards, and community commitments have been finalized.

With those milestones complete, construction is anticipated to begin as the project moves into its next phase.

A significant milestone has been reached for the Claremore Data Center Project, located in the Claremore Industrial Park.

The property transaction has closed and the agreements governing the project’s development and financial commitments are now finalized, marking an important step forward for this major investment in Claremore.

The agreements include more than $180 million in anticipated PILOT payments, community funding and infrastructure-related deposits, along with additional financial protections for the City.

Over the next 30 years, the project is also expected to generate more than $400 million in electric revenue and sales tax, creating additional resources that can be reinvested in Claremore’s infrastructure and public services.

With this milestone complete, the project will move into its next phase, including applicable permitting, regulatory review and other standard development processes.

This is an important step forward for Claremore, and we’re excited to see the opportunities this investment can bring to our community.

- Congratulations to the Cherokee Nation on the groundbreaking of its new Claremore Outpatient and Emergency Health Center. This transformational $400 million investment includes a 400,000-square-foot facility significantly expanding access to care, and is expected to support approximately 750 jobs once fully operational, nearly doubling employment at the current Claremore facility.

Investments of this scale strengthen far more than a single site. They create quality career opportunities, support continued community growth and reinforce Claremore’s role as a place where people can build a career, raise a family and access critical services close to home.

We are grateful for the Cherokee Nation’s continued investment in Claremore and excited to see this next chapter take shape.
