In recognition of National Women in STEM Day, I would like to take a moment to celebrate the incredible work of Mrs. Laci Henegar, who has served as my STEM Outreach Coordinator for just over a year. In this short time, Laci has made a remarkable impact, engaging with more than 3,500 middle and high school students and fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of STEM fields.
Her passion, dedication, and tireless efforts have not only expanded STEM awareness but have also inspired countless young learners to explore opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and outreach events, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of these students, encouraging them to dream big and pursue careers in STEM.
Laci’s commitment to making STEM education accessible and exciting to all is truly commendable and her work is a testament to the importance of strong role models in these fields, and I want to extend my deepest appreciation for everything she has done. Thank you, Laci, for your unwavering dedication and the lasting impact you are making in the lives of so many young learners.
