Sometimes it’s low numbers and big fish, and sometimes it’s the opposite. No hogs today but a great day on the water none the less, and lots of smallmouth!

Matt spent some years serving in the Navy and Mark the Marine Corps. Now they are both leaders in Project Healing Waters.

The sound of flowing waters calms me like nothing else. It quiets my mind, and with the rhythm of a fly rod and keeping time of my cast, my mind can know little else, just peace.

Sharing that with a brother, makes it all the better.

The waters were calming this weekend, and the fish made it easy… Jackson River Red Eyes, Appalachian Wild Rainbows and Native Brookies.
