We are one week away from the Mayes County Fair!

Visit the Floriculture Section at the Mayes County Fair, September 10–14, and take home a bag of ‘Dutch Master’ daffodil bulbs, the classic, cheerful golden-yellow daffodil that announces spring has finally arrived.

In promotion of our Spring Daffodil Show, we’ll be offering bulbs as a special fundraiser:

3 ‘Dutch Master’ bulbs for $5.00

Plant them in your garden beginning mid-October through November, tuck them in for their winter’s rest, and come spring you’ll be rewarded with those wonderful golden trumpets we all look forward to after a long winter.

Better yet, grow them beautifully and perhaps we’ll see your blooms on the show bench at our Spring Daffodil Show!

Available while supplies last.

With secateurs sharpened, vases polished, and competitive instincts being kept reasonably well concealed, the Chouteau Garden Club is putting the finishing touches on the schedule for our Spring Flower Show, 'The Grand Garden Exhibition' — March 12-13, 2027!

We can hardly wait to unveil the details!

So tend those daffodils as though the Queen herself were coming to inspect them, plan your finest spring blooms to perfection, and begin plotting your most elegant floral designs. After all, there is nothing quite like a flower show to turn perfectly respectable gardeners into fierce horticulturists, all conducted, naturally, with impeccable manners.

More information and the official show schedule coming soon!
