🐾 HERO MAMA UPDATE: 1 Mother, 16 Babies, and a Huge Next Step! 🐾

We have an unbelievable, heart-wrenching update on our sweet rescue Mama, and it proves just how extraordinary these animals truly are.

We recently faced an emergency this morning. Our stray mother that we’ve been trying to trap had moved her newborn puppies to a spot she thought was safe, but they were actually in imminent danger of drowning. We knew we couldn't leave them there to perish, so we stepped in to save them.

We brought the rescued puppies straight to the pound, right to the warm room where our current Mama and her own babies are staying.

Without a moment of hesitation, our incredible rescue Mama immediately adopted the helpless newcomers. She took them in as her own, and right now, this absolute superhero of a dog is nursing and caring for 16 puppies! She is keeping every single one of them safe, warm, and loved.

Mama is giving everything she has to keep these babies thriving.

We are thrilled to share that the entire family will be moving to Harley Foster Haven Saturday. They will have all the room and dedicated resources necessary to grow big and strong.

Your incredibly generous donations are what keep miracles like this possible. Thank you for helping us protect these 17 precious lives and giving them a real second chance! ❤️✨

🐾 UPDATE: Mama & Babies are safe, warm, and loved! 🐾

From the absolute bottom of our hearts, thank you. We are completely blown away by the incredible, overwhelming generosity of our community. Because of your quick support and very generous donations, we’ve been able to give this sweet little family exactly what they needed when they needed it most.
Right now, Mama and her beautiful babies are tucked away in a safe, quiet, and warm unused room at the pound.

They are currently out of the elements, piled together, warm, and getting all the cuddles they deserve. Everything is going remarkably well, and they are thriving in their cozy temporary sanctuary.
Thanks to your amazing support, we are already hard at work putting Part 2 of our plan into motion to ensure their long-term future is just as bright.

We asked for help, and you all showed up in a major way. You didn't just donate; you provided safety, warmth, and a second chance for these precious lives. We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

Stay tuned for more updates as this sweet family continues their journey! ❤️✨

Look at this picture. Really look at it. 💔

A mother dog and 10 helpless babies, packed into a box and dumped right at the gate of the Chouteau Pound. We are completely overwhelmed and entirely broke. Every single dollar we scrape together is poured directly into emergency spay and neuter surgeries.

We apply for grants constantly, only to get turned down. We are already exhausting our limited resources trying to humanely trap a local stray who continuously breeds—and then we walk out to this.

Our partners at Harley Foster Haven are now scrambling to take this family. The heartbreak is, the only open area they had left for a momma and babies was being held for that town stray and her upcoming litter. Now, they are pushed way past their limit. They too are out of money and pay out of their own pockets for everything we send them. Personal money runs out!

Oklahoma, this has to stop. Spay and neuter your pets. If you can’t afford the basic medical care an animal requires, please do not take one home. We cannot keep cleaning up the pieces of preventable negligence.

Please share, please donate, and please open your eyes to the rescue crisis happening right in our town.
