You don’t have to carry the thing that broke you

Some of us have become so familiar with carrying pain that we mistake it for strength. We carry disappointment, betrayal, rejection, shame, and the weight of what happened to us as if it’s our responsibility to keep it alive.

That was my story but here’s what I realized….

The very thing that broke me was never meant to become my identity.

God never intended for you to spend your life dragging the chains He died to break. There comes a moment when you have to lay it at His feet and trust that His grace can hold what you’ve been refusing to let go

Today, give yourself permission to release what has been weighing you down. Not because it didn’t matter, but because you matter too.

You don’t have to carry what broke you. Carry His peace instead.
