BPNC got to reunite our Logan Scholars alum, current and future recipients to meet and get to know one another, share advice, and network✏️📓

Through the Logan Scholarship at Kelly College Prep, these young women are able to access financial support and wrap around services as they enter their undergraduate journey. We’re happy to be a part of their path to a degree! Thank you to the Reva and David Logan Foundation for making college possible for these young people on the southwest side 👩🏻‍🎓

Getting to the grocery store should not be a barrier to having food at home. 🍽️🍞

United Way of Metro Chicago and 211 Metro Chicago are partnering with Lyft and the City of Chicago – Government to help eligible seniors on the South and West Sides access free ride credits for trips to grocery stores and other essential destinations.

🔹Seniors age 60+ and live in one of the following zip codes: 60624, 60629, 60621, 60649, 60617, 60643, 60628, 60619, 60620

🔹Call 2-1-1 between 7am-3:30pm, complete a brief screening, and receive a $25 Lyft ride credit, while supplies last or until 9/30

🔹Call up to two times ($50 value)

A 2-1-1 Resource Navigator can also help seniors download the Lyft app, add the code to their account, and book a ride. Caregivers may assist and ride along.
