🚨BLACK MEN UNITED IS HEADING TO BOLINGBROOK, IL!🚨

Bolingbrook is a vibrant and diverse community where families from many cultures, backgrounds, and generations come together to build something strong—together. That diversity is one of its greatest strengths, reflecting unity, respect, and shared purpose.

That same spirit is exactly what Black Men United stands for.

Black Men United is committed to serving communities through outreach, resource support, and acts of love that meet real needs. From food giveaways to community events, the mission is simple: stand in the gap, uplift families, and ensure no one is left behind during challenging times.

With the cost of groceries, household essentials, and everyday living continuing to rise 🚀, many families are feeling the impact. And the truth is—everyone can use a little support sometimes. That’s where community makes the difference.

That’s why we’re proud to bring a **FREE Community Giveaway to Bolingbrook**, standing alongside residents in the same spirit of unity that defines this great village.

MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA — COMMUNITY IMPACT RECAP

Yesterday, the Montgomery community came together in a powerful display of unity, compassion, and service as Black Men United partnered with World Vision, Zoe Life Ministries International, Restoration Church, community leaders, and dedicated volunteers to provide support to individuals and families across the city.

Throughout the day, food, clothing, and valuable community resources were distributed to residents, helping address immediate needs while creating meaningful connections with those we had the privilege to serve.

What stood out most was not simply the resources provided, but the spirit of togetherness that filled the atmosphere. Neighbors supported neighbors. Volunteers worked side by side. Community leaders showed up with a shared commitment to ensuring that families felt seen, valued, and supported.

We extend our sincere appreciation to 4th District Councilwoman Franetta DeLayne Riley, 5th District Councilman Cornelius "CC" Calhoun, Zoe Life Ministries International, Restoration Church, World Vision, our volunteers, and every partner who helped make this outreach possible.

Events like these remind us that lasting change happens when organizations, faith communities, elected officials, and residents work together toward a common goal. Every box distributed, every conversation shared, and every act of kindness contributed to strengthening the Montgomery community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and supported this effort. Your commitment continues to make a difference in the lives of others.

Together, we are building stronger communities, creating opportunities for hope, and demonstrating the power of service in action.

Please take a moment to watch this inspiring video featuring our Vice President and Co-Founder, Mr. Terry Young, as he extends a special thank you to our valued partners for their continued support and commitment to serving our communities.

Community impact is made possible through collaboration, dedication, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. While challenges may arise along the way, true leadership and service require perseverance, faith, and an unwavering focus on the mission.

This message serves as a reminder that obstacles do not define our future—our faith, determination, and commitment to purpose do.

As Scripture reminds us:

"What is impossible with man is possible with God." — Luke 18:27

And:

"But many who are first will be last, and the last first." — Matthew 19:30

As you watch, take a moment to reflect:

What if today's challenge is preparing you for tomorrow's opportunity? What if the very obstacle standing before you is helping develop the strength, character, and perseverance needed for your next season?

Continue to have faith. Continue to serve. Continue to move forward with purpose. Every act of kindness, every sacrifice, and every effort to uplift others has value and significance.

Thank you to all of our partners, supporters, volunteers, and community leaders who help make this work possible. Together, we are creating positive change and leaving a lasting impact.

✨ CONSISTENCY MATTERS. BOOTS ON THE GROUND. COMMUNITY FIRST. ✨

At Black Men United, we believe that showing up consistently is one of the greatest forms of service. We see the challenges many individuals and families face every day, and we refuse to turn a blind eye to the realities impacting our communities. Instead, we remain committed to being present, taking action, and doing our part.

Today, we continue our mission of service by providing FREE grocery items to residents in our community. Every act of kindness, every helping hand, and every opportunity to serve reminds people that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

📢 Black Men United, in collaboration with 5th District Senator Lakesia Collins, City Treasurer Melissa Conyears-Ervin, 2nd District Cook County Commissioner Michael Scott Jr., and 27th Ward Alderman Walter Burnett Jr., is proud to host a:
