American Legion Post 108 - Cheverly The American Legion Post 108 in Cheverly, MD is a 501 (c) 19 Not for Profit, Community Based, Non-Partisan, Patriotic, Veterans Service Organization.

For more information please visit our website https://cheverlyamericanlegion.com/who-we-are-what-we-do The American Legion Post 108 in Cheverly was first organized in 1933 and completed in 1941; built by post members of materials collected from Rock Creek Park, the East Wing of the White House, a bridge in Washington, DC, the McLean Mansion, and contains old doors from the U.S. Supreme Court. The

post family currently has over 450 members and sponsors Boy Scout Troop 257and Cub Scout Pack 257. Since our charter in 1933, the Cheverly American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country.

American Legion Post 108 - Cheverly will hold a Memorial Day Ceremony at Cheverly Legion Park on Memorial Day, Monday 5/25 at 10am. All are invited to attend the ceremony.
Poppies will be distributed.
There will be a display in Legion Park "In Honor of their Sacrifice" Memorial markers will be placed in tribute to local service members and those who are remembered, killed in action.
As we have done the past couple of years, the Cheverly American Legion, Post 108, will place stakes with a memoriam placard at Legion Park for Memorial Day. We will also have a service at Legion Park on Memorial Day 5/25
For our memoriam placards, we honor our local fallen heroes, and fallen family and friends of our community.
