A Trex Bench, made from recycled plastic and displayed at The Getaway Golf Club in Chetek, is up for grabs. The Chetek Lions Club collected the plastic used in its construction. Buy a $10 square to participate in the drawing. The winner will be announced on July 18, 2026, do not need to be present to win.

Summer is here and we are excited to hit the courts!

Chetek Pickleball Club Hours will remain the same throughout the summer season. Free to Join. Open to ALL players and skill levels, next paddle up format!

Monday through Friday Mornings 8:30-11am
Tuesday & Thursday Evenings 4:30-7pm
Weather Permitting.

Courts are open to organizing your own groups outside of club hours. If you are looking to join a welcoming group of pickleball players in the community, come find us at 301 City Park Drive!

The Lions got together yesterday sorted and bagged 35 bags of plastic about 350 lbs.
The plastic will be recycled and used by the Trek Co.
Thank you to everyone who recycles plastic to keep it out of the environment. Please only put clean plastic in the recycling containers.

Chetek Lions Club received a request from Barron County Veterans Services to build a wheelchair accessible ramp for an elderly veteran that lives in Cumberland. With the help of the Shell Lake Lions Club on Thursday the ramp was completed. Biggest ramp so far!

Join the Chetek Pickleball club for one more month of indoor play at both Faith Baptist and Camp Chetek!

We meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at Faith Baptist Church. Tuesday, Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings at Camp Chetek this month.

$3/daily drop in OR $15/for play the entire month!

We will be announcing when the Chetek Sports Complex will be opening back up for the season here, along with other events taking place this summer, so stay tuned!

The Chetek Lions will host a blood drive with the Red Cross on January 27, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm at 711 First St, Chetek, at the Senior Community Center.
