These homes provide safe, affordable, permanent housing to low-income individuals with mental health challenges.

From managing resources at the Federal Reserve to hitting top speeds at the Corvette Racing School in Nevada, Emily does it all!

But her favorite role? Being a advocate and loving mother to her son, who calls an Enduring Spaces community home. Emily’s financial expertise and personal passion make her an incredible asset to our team and mission.

It’s !

Today we’d like to highlight one of our dedicated board members, Angela Gross, and share a huge thank you to our entire board for their ongoing commitment to Enduring Spaces.

Angela joined our board in November 2025 following an impactful 30-year career in public education as a school principal and division leader. Through her years in education, Angela worked closely with unhoused families and youth, recognizing how crucial strong support systems are during transitional life stages.

Her passion for serving others and ensuring everyone has access to safe, dignified, and stable housing is at the core of why she serves on our board.

Though she’s officially "retired," Angela keeps plenty busy with consulting, health and wellness coaching, travel, pottery, and pickleball!

It’s , and today we are proud to introduce board member Lee Price! 🌟

Lee has dedicated his career and personal life to community advocacy. After beginning his work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 1972, he spent decades supporting community needs, retiring from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services in 2014.

Lee joined the Enduring Spaces board in 2015, viewing it as a voluntary extension of his lifelong mission to serve others. His leadership and commitment help us fulfill our mission to provide safe, sustainable homes and a sense of belonging for the underserved in Chesterfield and beyond.

Outside of his work with us, Lee chairs his church’s Community Engagement Team, plays trombone in the Chesterfield Concert Band, and loves spending time with his wife and their two young granddaughters. 🎶👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

It’s ! Today, we’re highlighting our Vice President, Martha Mead, who has been a core member of the Enduring Spaces team since 2014.

Having spent her career in behavioral health services, Martha knows firsthand how essential a stable, safe home is to mental health and recovery. She continues to be a passionate advocate for expanding supportive housing options for individuals with serious mental illness and substance use disorders in our community.

Fun fact: When she’s not advocating for safe housing, Martha is tuning in to country music—and she even sang in a band! 🎶🎸
