Before the cameras roll… before the first scene is filmed… before anyone presses “record”… there is imagination ✨

This July, our InterConnected Online community will be designing every piece of a music video for our original song, Love Sandwich. From brainstorming ideas to storyboarding scenes, everyone will have the chance to contribute their perspectives.

No filmmaking experience is needed. Just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to create together. 🥪🎶

Join us July 25-26 in Crozier, Virginia for THRESHOLDS: Exploring Presence, Transition & the Wisdom of Uncertainty, a weekend of experiential learning, conversation, and connection inspired by the wisdom of horses.

🌙 Saturday evening, we’ll gather ‘After Dark’ for an immersive sensory experience exploring herd presence and what becomes possible when we soften our reliance on sight.

🌞 On Sunday, we’ll come together ‘In the Daylight’ for a thoughtful conversation about horses, transition, risk, and the lessons herd dynamics offer for navigating change in our lives.

We are so pleased to have Creative Collaborator, Hamilton Glass, join us in our Online InterConnected sessions for April & May. He is guiding us through an exploration of compassion, empathy and collaboration. Participants will represent their perspectives through a visual, collaborative work of art.

Hamilton Glass is a Richmond, Virginia–based painter and public artist who uses his work to build community, foster connection, and expand access to the arts. With a background in architecture, he creates bold, geometric, and site-specific murals that interact with their surroundings and convey movement and energy. In 2020, he founded Mending Walls RVA, a public art initiative uniting over 30 artists to promote empathy and healing, later featured in an Emmy Award–winning PBS documentary and companion book.

Join us for our March Healthy Herd & Horse Sense workshops on Saturday, March 28th, at Dandelion Springs Apiary. 🌱🐴✨ As spring begins to arrive, we’ll gather in gratitude for our Herd and the natural world while learning how to care for both.

🌿 Horse Sense – Forage and Fencing
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Explore forage and fence work and why both are essential for our herd’s health and safety.

🌱 Healthy Herd – Gratitude for our Natural World
12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Join us in a spring cleanup of the FreeHorse Arts Community Garden and start seeds to nurture from sprout to table.
