Why do we celebrate Labor Day? Did you get the day off to remember?

09/07/2026

Happy Labor Day!

Today we celebrate the workers who keep our communities, businesses, hospitals, schools, farms, factories, and families moving forward.

Labor Day is more than a day off. It is a reminder that the rights workers have today were won because working people stood together, organized, and demanded a voice on the job.

A fair wage. A safe workplace. Time with our families. Respect and dignity at work. These aren't luxuries—they're what every worker deserves.

When workers come together, we have the power to make work better for everyone.

This Labor Day, let's celebrate the workers who built our communities—and keep organizing for the future workers deserve.

Happy Labor Day!
