Mabel's Orphaned Angels Rescue Founded in October 2016, Mabel's Orphaned Angels Rescue (MOAR) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization & no-kill rescue based in Southern Maryland.

While a large number of our rescues are of the feline variety, we are committed to helping animals of all kinds find their perfect forever home. By the end of 2022 we will have found forever homes for more than 400 orphaned angels.

Meet Pascal

If you're looking for a kitten with a big personality, Pascal is your guy! This little dude is the life of the party and is ALWAYS ready for playtime. Whether he's chasing toys, wrestling with his siblings, or racing to be the first one to greet you at the door Pascal brings fun wherever he goes.

When the day winds down this goofy little guy turns into the BIGGEST cuddle bug and loves curling up in bed with his people. Pascal will need a home with another young, playful kitty or can be adopted with one of his foster siblings so he'll always have a buddy to keep him company. This is non-negotiable!

Can you believe The baby (Celeste) and Pascal are still looking for homes?!??
Please help us get the word out there so these babies can find their furever homes.
Both babies are great with other cats, dogs, and kiddos of all ages. They need to be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another YOUNG, PLAYFUL feline friend.
They are super snuggly, make the best biscuits and have magical healing powers for us chronically ill baddies 💕💕

Sweet Hammy has been through so much since the day he was born. ❤️
He was born without eyelids and has already had two surgeries to help him be more comfortable. We are still working towards paying off his surgery bill.
Hammy is such a sweet, happy little guy, and he deserves to live his life as comfortably as possible. 🥺🐾

Comet began his journey with us in March 2024 and is still searching for his forever home. He is a large, laid‑back tabby who embodies comfort and calm. If you are looking for a lap cat or a companion who will happily share the bed at night, Comet is an excellent match.

He enjoys gentle petting and brushing while relaxing beside you, but he also appreciates quiet time on his own. Whether he is curled up in a pile of blankets or stretched out in a sunny spot, he is a content and easygoing cat.

Comet is not the biggest fan of newcomers in the home and prefers to find a quiet place until he feels comfortable again. He knows his name, is fully litter box trained, sleeps through the night, and is up to date on all vaccinations. He is ready to begin his next chapter with a family who appreciates his calm nature and steady companionship.

Meet Rumor, named after a beautiful mare on Chincoteague Island. We always joke that she takes after her namesake because this little lady loves to be in charge. She has the most gorgeous cinnamon roll swirls on her tummy and will keep you laughing with her nonstop shenanigans.

Rumor is full of personality, full of opinions, and full of charm. She plays hard, explores everything, and makes sure her siblings know she is the boss. And once she is all played out, she is all about the cuddles. This girl melts right into you and soaks up every bit of affection.

Baby Mango is the kind of kitten who steals your heart in seconds. He is handsome confident and full of charm. There isn't a shy bone in his body. He loves people loves attention and loves being right in the middle of whatever you're doing.

He is a window watching pro who will guard the house from every bird squirrel and leaf that dares to move. Playtime is his favorite sport and he brings all the energy and all the joy. Due to this, he must be adopted with his sibling or into a home with a young, playful feline friend. Most importantly he is a complete snuggle bug who melts into your arms the second you pick him up.

Pigeon is a playful gal who loves her cat tree, enjoys snuggling close, and has a lot to say when mealtime rolls around. She's vocal, silly, and full of personality. She's mostly indifferent to dogs, though she gets a little nervous when they zoom around, so a calmer pup or a dog-free home would be ideal. Shed thrive in just about any household, especially one with another friendly kitty to keep her company (this is a non-negotiable).
