June 9, 2026 Lions Club Mtg: We were honored to have our 2 scholarship recipients, Miss Olivia Underwood & Miss Emily Crocker, join us & talk about their plans for college. We also celebrated Lions with a 2nd Quarter Birthday: Lee Sockwell, Gil Zimmerman, Bart Bodkin, Scott Vance, Melinda Waldrep, Bonnie Fuqua, & Thomas Woodis. 🎉

The monthly Lions’ meeting was held at the Lions’ Den on the second Tuesday of the month. The Lions’ 34 A LCIF Coordinator, Mike McElhaney, was the guest speaker. The Cherokee Lions’ Club was presented the Outstanding Club Award for 2025-2026. Pictured are Nancy Vance and Mike McElhaney.
