Artessa artist Nancy Agati will be exhibiting
“Terzi (3rds)”
in an upcoming 3 person exhibition - MAC.

This work on paper was first displayed in the Artessa Biennial 2023 at CCA.
Agati is excited to be showing work alongside two amazing fellow artists Nathan Pankratz and Kate VanVliet.
The exhibition, Affinities opens Friday May 22nd and runs through July 2nd.

Please join us for opening reception on Friday, May 22nd from 6-9pm.

Artessa members Karen Hunter McLaughlin and Megan Raab Greenholt's recent work is featured at the Goggleworks 18th Annual National Juried Art Exhibition. The exhibit opened last Friday and runs through July 12th. It's an incredible showcase of national artists and the galleries are 😍

Artessa member Rebecca Schultz and received an environmental education grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection for a series of free arts-integrated watershed education workshops at the Elkins Park library and High School Park. The first one is next Wednesday 11/5–registration link in bio!

Artessa Alliance is opening our collective to a few new members!

We’re looking to expand Artessa Alliance to include artists with diverse backgrounds, creative practices, and perspectives. Our goal is to add up to three new artists.

Applications will remain open through December 31, 2025. We will review the applications in early 2026 and send notification of our decisions by February 28, 2026.

Artessa Alliance is excited to announce its 3rd Biennial Exhibition, “THE PEACE OF WILD THINGS”, at the renowned Cheltenham Center for the Arts, September 15 - October 10, 2025. An Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, 6-8pm.
Inspired by Wendell Berry’s poem of the same name, “The Peace of Wild Things” explores the intersection of nature, tranquility, and the human spirit. The exhibition showcases a diverse and vibrant collection of works by its current 14 members: Nancy Agati, Michelle Ciarlo-Hayes, Elena Drozdova, Mo Ganey, Megan Raab Greenholt, Megan Grugan, Colleen Hammond, Brenda Howell, Karen Hunter MacLaughlin, Julie Mann, Kimberly Mehler, Glynis Raisch, Julia Way, and Rebecca Schultz.
