The Bucky Williams Gym was FULL of smiles today! 😄 We were thrilled to welcome a wonderful group of volunteers from TVA for a day of fun indoor games and activities with the people we support. We celebrated National Nurses Week this week by recognizing the incredible nurses who keep Orange Grove healthy, supported, and well cared for! 🩺

Caring for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities takes a special kind of nurse: one who knows that vital signs tell only part of the story, that communication looks different for every patient, and that trust is built one gentle interaction at a time.

Our nurses bring that attention and compassion to work every single day, and our community is healthier because of it.

This week, we're celebrating the team that keeps us going strong:
✅ Round-the-clock nursing support across our residential homes and ICF.
✅ Primary care delivered through the Augustus McCravey Health Care Clinic, open to our participants, staff, and the wider Chattanooga community.
✅ Specialized expertise in medication management, complex care coordination, and disability-friendly approaches you won't find everywhere.

To every nurse on our campus and in our homes: thank you for being "caregivers" in every sense of the word. You see the whole person, not just the chart, and the individuals we support are healthier, happier, and safer because of you. 💚

The photos just keep coming, and we couldn't help but share a few more from this year's "Footloose"-themed Orange Grove Prom! 🎶✨

Prom is one of the most beloved nights of our year. It's a chance for everyone to dress up, hit the dance floor, and "kick off their Sunday shoes" alongside the people who love them most. This year's Footloose theme had our entire community cutting loose in the best way possible, and these photos of our guests on the way to the dance floor prove it.

To every individual, family member, staffer, and volunteer who helped make this night happen, thank you for being "footloose" in every sense of the word. Prom at Orange Grove is more than a party; it's a celebration of every person on our campus, exactly as they are. 💚
