Thanks to the incredible generosity of Madeleine Walker and her family, Therapy Services at Ride On is excited to introduce our new play structure—an innovative, engaging environment designed to support physical, occupational, and speech therapy goals. By integrating therapeutic activities into play, clients can build strength, coordination, communication, and confidence in a setting that feels natural, motivating, and fun.
Many of our therapists also specialize in the use of horse movement as a treatment tool (hippotherapy). The horse’s multidimensional movement and rich sensory input is a powerful treatment tool. This dynamic experience challenges balance, strength, coordination, motor control, sensory processing, and speech-language skills in meaningful, functional ways. The addition of the play structure allows therapists to carry these gains into real-world activities—like climbing, navigating space, and interacting with peers—helping clients translate skills into everyday independence.
With access to both equine movement and thoughtfully designed therapeutic equipment, our team can seamlessly connect each piece of a client’s progress. The result is a more comprehensive, functional approach to therapy that supports greater independence and improved quality of life.
