***REMINDER*** Fall Rec Registration closes tomorrow at 11:59pm. If your daughter is interested in playing please make sure to register her before then. Our goal is to work on coaches for each grade level and practice days/times this week so that they can be shared at our August meeting on Tuesday, the 25th.

🏀💪🏼🏀Summer skills for girls and boys going into 2nd and 3rd grade ended today and the kids had a blast! We played a lot of skill games and finished with a scrimmage. It was fun watching them work together! The kids have definitely improved over the summer and will be ready for the upcoming basketball seasons. Thank you to the families who were able to participate this summer. Go Lady Bucs! 🏀💪🏼🏀

Registration will remain open until August 17, 2026. Please share this information with any girl going in to grade 1 through grade 6.

🏀🏀🏀Day 1 of Coach Montecalvo’s camp was a lot of fun. Varsity coaches and players worked with the youth campers by reinforcing basic skills, leading drills, and cheering them on during competitions. They encouraged teamwork, good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude while making sure everyone had fun and felt included. Their support and enthusiasm helped create a great experience for our youngest players! Go Lady Bucs! 🏀🏀🏀

Yesterday was the last day for Coach Bay's basketball camp. A BIG thank you to Coach Bay for taking time out of his busy schedule to put on a clinic for our youth girls during the month of June!! We are so privileged to have him. He worked the girls hard each week, but they still all had tons of fun and made positive strides in their game. We are looking forward to having him with us again in the future 🏀🤩

🏀🏀🏀Today we celebrated the 2025-2026 seasons in the Sr High Gym. There was a lot of different activities the girls did in the gym. It was great seeing the girls smile and laugh with their basketball friends! After the gym time the girls moved to the LGI room for pizza and treats. Some outdoor basketballs and silent basketballs were raffled off. All girls who played regardless if they were in attendance or not were entered for a chance to win. The second raffle was for a variety of different gift cards. Finally, two lucky winners took home $50 gift cards to Dicks Sporting Goods in the final raffle. Congratulations to all the girls that won!
To end the celebration, coaches handed out end of season gifts to their players. First year players received a basketball bag, middle players received personalized PJ bottoms, and finally 6th grade received personalized Nike jackets.
A special thanks goes out to all of the parents who volunteered to coach this past year. Without volunteers our association would not exist. We appreciate everyone’s dedication and look forward to another successful year in 2026-2027!

What a way to finish the season! 🏆❤️🖤
The Chartiers-Houston Youth Girls Basketball Association 4th Grade Maroon team battled their way to a Championship victory over California, and the girls showed exactly what team basketball is all about. From relentless defense, to tremendous ball movement against a very physical defense, to creating great scoring opportunities all game long — these girls competed with toughness, confidence, and heart. Most importantly, they played for each other and demonstrated incredible teamwork from start to finish.

One of the best parts of the day was seeing the support from the CH Gold team, families, and the entire community cheering these girls on every step of the way. The energy, encouragement, and pride shown by everyone truly made this championship even more special. ❤️🖤

And honestly, there was no better way to celebrate an amazing season than ending the night together at Dairy Queen with teammates, families, and plenty of smiles! 🍦

The future is incredibly bright for Chartiers-Houston girls basketball. These 4th grade teams are a force to be reckoned with, and we cannot wait to see what next season brings. Great job Lady Bucs — CH Proud! 💪🏀
