🏀🏀🏀Today we celebrated the 2025-2026 seasons in the Sr High Gym. There was a lot of different activities the girls did in the gym. It was great seeing the girls smile and laugh with their basketball friends! After the gym time the girls moved to the LGI room for pizza and treats. Some outdoor basketballs and silent basketballs were raffled off. All girls who played regardless if they were in attendance or not were entered for a chance to win. The second raffle was for a variety of different gift cards. Finally, two lucky winners took home $50 gift cards to Dicks Sporting Goods in the final raffle. Congratulations to all the girls that won!
To end the celebration, coaches handed out end of season gifts to their players. First year players received a basketball bag, middle players received personalized PJ bottoms, and finally 6th grade received personalized Nike jackets.
A special thanks goes out to all of the parents who volunteered to coach this past year. Without volunteers our association would not exist. We appreciate everyone’s dedication and look forward to another successful year in 2026-2027!

What a way to finish the season! 🏆❤️🖤
The Chartiers-Houston Youth Girls Basketball Association 4th Grade Maroon team battled their way to a Championship victory over California, and the girls showed exactly what team basketball is all about. From relentless defense, to tremendous ball movement against a very physical defense, to creating great scoring opportunities all game long — these girls competed with toughness, confidence, and heart. Most importantly, they played for each other and demonstrated incredible teamwork from start to finish.

One of the best parts of the day was seeing the support from the CH Gold team, families, and the entire community cheering these girls on every step of the way. The energy, encouragement, and pride shown by everyone truly made this championship even more special. ❤️🖤

And honestly, there was no better way to celebrate an amazing season than ending the night together at Dairy Queen with teammates, families, and plenty of smiles! 🍦

The future is incredibly bright for Chartiers-Houston girls basketball. These 4th grade teams are a force to be reckoned with, and we cannot wait to see what next season brings. Great job Lady Bucs — CH Proud! 💪🏀

The CH Maroon and CH Gold 4th grade girls put together a fun and energetic game filled with teamwork, hustle, and great sportsmanship from start to finish. The girls did a tremendous job moving the ball, taking quality shots, making smart passes, battling for rebounds, and creating steals through active defense and effort. It was exciting to see so many players contribute and confidently make plays throughout the game. What stood out most was the support and encouragement the girls showed for one another. No matter the score, the team celebrated each other’s successes and continued to play hard while having fun together. To top off a great day of basketball, the girls celebrated afterward with some well-earned ice cream and plenty of smiles. This game wraps up the regular season, and now it’s time for playoffs. Good luck girls — keep working hard, supporting each other, and enjoying the journey together!

🏀🏀🏀The CH 5/6 team finished the spring Brownson House season on Monday night against Burgettstown. Even though the girls didn’t come out with a win they played hard and improved as a team as the season progressed. Keep practicing and working hard in the off season. Go Lady Bucs!🏀🏀🏀

🏀🏀🏀After a long break, the CH 5/6 team took on Fort Cherry last night at the Brownson House. Having a few weeks of practice definitely showed as this was the group's best team game! From the beginning jump ball to the last buzzer the girls played hard and executed! Many girls contributed on the scoreboard and the Lady Bucs picked up the win over Fort Cherry! Keep practicing and playing hard. The team will finish up the season on Monday night against Burgettstown at 8:00. Go Lady Bucs!🏀🏀🏀

The 3rd grade girls had a great game last night and really put forth a solid effort against Trinity. Despite not coming out with a win, they had some great defensive rebounds and put up a lot of shots on offense. They just couldn't get a few more to fall. Big thank you to our fearless 2nd graders who stepped up to help out the past 2 games. They have played well! Keep fighting Lady Bucs....🏀🤩

🏀🏀🏀The 5/6 team faced a physical Washington team Thursday evening at the Brownson House. Our girls kept competing and never backed down despite giving up a lot in size. The toughness really stood out, and we recognize we’re growing with every possession. Great step forward in our development—proud of how we battled. The team gets some time off before returning against Belle Vernon after Easter Break. Keep working hard. Go Lady Bucs 🏀🏀🏀

Our 3rd grade girls had their first game today agaist Belle Vernon. They started out strong but Belle Vernon's height was hard to match. The girls never quit and moved the ball really well on offense. They have 2 practices to work on some more offense and sharpen up their defense before taking on Trinity Saturday. It was a great start for the spring season! Let's Go Lady Bucs!!
