The Southern BEE Alliance is excited to launch the Foundations of Cooperation & Collective Care Learning Series—a four-part virtual series designed for birthworkers, lactation counselors, doulas, early childhood professionals, community leaders, champions, and community organizers across the Carolinas.

Whether you're new to cooperative education or looking to deepen your understanding, this series will introduce you to the values, principles, and practices of cooperation while connecting you with others who are committed to building healthier families and stronger communities.

Today, Southern BEE Alliance Cooperative gathered for our First Aid Essentials Workshop, facilitated by Racquel Washington and Kiana Stacey Linen.

Together, we explored strategies for building both physical and psychological first aid kits and discussed the importance of identifying a strong support community before challenges arise.

This is what cooperative practice and solidarity economy look like—sharing knowledge, strengthening networks of care, and investing in one another's well-being so that we can thrive together.

Thank you to our facilitators and everyone who joined us in building a stronger culture of collective care.
