Many kids have spent summers on the shores of Sawyer Lake. Canoeing, fishing and learning life skills that followed them into adulthood. The memory of the laughter echoing across the lake is still strong, but unfortunately the camp is not. The camp has not been used, the current board members are older and not well versed in this new world of social media, website development, and resources to bri
ng new life into this historic gem. It would be a shame if this property had to be given to the county and sold to a private party when the potential is limitless. In addition to the current state of affairs, the budget is very limited, or next to nothing. We have not lost hope and believe that new life can be brought into the building and once again be a life changing experience in today's youth. We are looking for active board members, volunteers that can help with repairs, and creating a plan to sustain this camp and make it viable once again. If you are interested in this worthy cause, please send an email to [email protected] and share with us why you want to help and what skills you can provide. Thanks for your inquiry and we hope to work together with you while we try to save Camp Molinare!
