Every can on a pantry shelf got there because someone decided it mattered.

Someone donated it. Someone sorted it. Someone stocked it. And eventually, it may help put dinner on someone's table.

On National Food Bank Day, we're grateful for everyone who helps keep food available for Mercer County families.

Food insecurity isn't always obvious. Sometimes the family needing help looks just like your family, your neighbor, or your coworker.

Thank you for helping make sure our community has somewhere to turn.

• Children had safe spaces to maintain important family connections.
• Neighbors helped neighbors.

Whether you donated, volunteered, attended an event, shared a post, or simply encouraged someone to reach out for help, you were part of this work. Thank you for helping make Mercer County a stronger, more compassionate community.
