CONSUMER ALERT

AES Ohio is seeking another increase in residential electric delivery charges. If approved, the average customer could pay an additional $13.79 per month by 2029 before any electricity is used.

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) will decide whether this increase moves forward, and public input matters.

Consumers can attend a public hearing, submit a public comment online, or send a letter to the PUCO to share how this proposed increase would affect them.

Direct Services helps Mercer County residents access food, personal care items, financial assistance, and community resources when they need them most.

Our most needed food pantry items include:

• Peanut butter & jelly

• Canned vegetables

• Dry spaghetti noodles
• Pasta sauce

Most needed personal care items:
• Size 4, 5, and 6 diapers
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
