This young lady is starting a new journey with the US Army today.
Adyson was a leader and valued member of Cass High JROTC and was involved in many of our services here at Post 42.
She is traveling to Fort Sill, Oklahoma to start Basic Combat Training. She will continue her training there in Field Artillery before shipping out overseas. We wish her our very best in this noble endeavor to serve her country. Stay Army Strong! 🇺🇸💪

Operation Overlord commenced June 6, 1944. D-Day would lead to the liberation of Europe shackled by tyranny. Never forget that the price for freedom is paid for by the brave. God bless those brave young men that hit the beaches on that day. 🇺🇸

One of our finest Post 42 members, Doug Simpson has crossed the pearly gates. He is now strolling streets of gold and making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Doug was a Patriot who served his country in the US Army and continued serving in his community until he left this world. He was known for his kindness, exuberance and his hearty laugh. Always quick to tell a joke with a smile and give out sage advice when needed. Doug was the very definition of a pillar in the community and an outstanding person that was loved by all who knew him.
Please keep his lovely wife Angie and the family in your prayers.

🍽️ Dinner: 7:00 PM
