Save The Date: Youth Explosion – 8/5/2023

Each summer the Youth Explosion of Bartow County hosts our annual community-wide Youth Explosion event consisting of various workshops and hands-on activities for students ages 5 – 22 y/o. The purpose is to address current issues Youth may face and provide solutions/skills to help them be successful. Past topics include: mental health, drug abuse, financial literacy, abstinence, bullying, character education, ethics, physical health, self-reliance, crisis resources, life skills, accountability, self-esteem, social media vulnerabilities, and teen su***de. The day concludes with a festival of free food, water slides, video game trucks, face painting, music and distribution of school supplies. This year's event will be August 5, 2023 at the Summer Hill Complex, Cartersville, GA. Registration: 11:00 am; Workshops begin at 12pm. More information to come.
