🌟 MBA FIRST 100 BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT | The Innerlace 🌟

What happens when your creativity becomes a way to help people hold onto the moments that matter most?
For Alaysha Harden, that became The Innerlace. 📸🎥

After leaving her previous role. Alaysha knew she wanted to build something centered around people and meaning. That vision became even clearer after experiencing an unexpected loss. During that time, she created her first memory film as a way to hold onto someone she loved—and that film became the foundation for The Innerlace.

Today, The Innerlace, based near Dallas, Georgia, specializes in story-driven photography and Memory Films that preserve not only what a moment looked like, but the people, emotions, voices, and stories behind it.

Alaysha's story is a reminder that sometimes the businesses we build are born from our own experiences—and those experiences can become a meaningful way to serve others.

🎥 In our MBA FIRST 100 interview, hear more from Alaysha about the story behind The Innerlace, her journey into entrepreneurship, and why preserving memories matters.

💜 Help us celebrate another Northwest Georgia entrepreneur by following, sharing, and supporting The Innerlace!

🌟 MBA FIRST 100 PRESENTS| Jackson Park Creations 🌟

What can happen when you start small, use what you have, and keep creating? For Darnell and Jodi Jackson, the answer became Jackson Park Entertainment Group.

Based in Cartersville, Georgia, this husband-and-wife team has used their creativity to build a family business with multiple streams under one vision.
Their journey didn’t begin with everything they have today. They started small, allowed word of mouth to help build their reputation, and continued expanding as new opportunities presented themselves.

Then COVID happened.

Like so many entrepreneurs, Darnell and Jodi chose to pivot. Instead of allowing the changes happening around them to stop the business, they found new ways to use their creativity, adapt what they were doing, and continue building. That ability to pivot ultimately helped them develop multiple streams within Jackson Park Entertainment Group.

And they’ve done it while navigating something else many couples understand: marriage AND business.
Their story shows that building together requires learning how to work together, recognize each other’s strengths, adjust when necessary, and stay committed to the bigger vision.

One of the biggest lessons from their journey? Never underestimate starting small—or the power of doing great work. When people have a great experience with your business, they talk. For Jackson Park Entertainment Group, word of mouth became an important part of their growth.

📍 Cartersville, GA

🎥 In our MBA FIRST 100 interview, hear directly from Darnell and Jodi about building as a family, navigating business as a married couple, pivoting through COVID, creating multiple income streams, and growing from small beginnings.

This is exactly why we're telling these stories. There are incredible businesses being built right here in Northwest Georgia.

💜 Follow. Share. Support.

🌟 MBA BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT | Jackson Park Creations 🌟
Today we’re shining the spotlight on Jackson Park Entertainment Group, owned by Darnell and Jodi Jackson.
What they’ve built goes beyond entertainment. Through Jackson Park Entertainment Group, their work has expanded across DJ and event entertainment, creative services, wood working, and experiences that bring people together.

What really stands out is how they continue to use what they’ve built to show up in the community. Their work has become a part of local events, celebrations, and opportunities to connect people—and that community involvement has not gone unnoticed.

But there’s MUCH more to their story. 👀
🎥 Our interview with Darnell and Jodi drops TUESDAY, and you’ll get to hear more about their journey, what they’ve built, and the vision behind it.
Make sure you’re following NWGA MBA so you don’t miss it! 💜🤎

📲 What if your next customer is already scrolling… but your content isn’t reaching them?

Social media can be more than a place to post about your business. When you understand how the algorithm works and how to create content strategically, it can become a lead-generation tool.

🔥Our next MBA Classroom Series is:
MBA Classroom Series: Master the Algorithm - Marketing Matters Class

We’re talking about how business owners can create content that gets in front of the right people and moves them from simply watching to actually becoming a lead, inquiry, or customer.

We’ll cover how to create content that:
📱 Gets the algorithm working in your favor
🎯 Attracts people who actually need what you offer
💬 Creates interest and starts conversations
🔥 Builds trust before someone ever contacts you
💰 Moves your audience toward taking action

Because the goal isn’t just more views.
The goal is more opportunities to do business.

Thank you City of Rome, GA - Government for allowing such a beautiful proclamation ✨

CELEBRATING BLACK BUSINESS MONTH

The City of Rome is proud to recognize August as Black Business Month, celebrating the entrepreneurs, business owners and community leaders whose vision, hard work and determination contribute to the strength and vitality of our community.

Rome City Commissioner Vic Hixon recently presented a proclamation recognizing Black Business Month alongside Northwest Georgia Minority Business Association President Shaylan Johnson and the organization’s founder, Bishop Norris Allen.

Black-owned businesses are an important part of Rome’s story — creating jobs, providing services, investing in our neighborhoods and helping build a stronger local economy.

Throughout August, we encourage our community to celebrate and support the Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs who help make Rome a great place to live, work and do business.
