A little rain couldn’t stop our flow. 🌧️🧘‍♀️✨

While the weather may have paused our Rooftop Yoga & Breathwork experience, it didn’t stop the work. We simply brought the session indoors at the Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center and continued to move, breathe, and reconnect. 💫

Sometimes plans change, but the intention stays the same—creating space for movement, mindfulness, and community wellness, rain or shine.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and went with the flow! ✨

Art in the Park continues throughout August with free, hands-on creative activities for the Carteret community!

Join the Central Jersey Arts Council at parks throughout town for painting, jewelry making, nature-inspired art, family-friendly crafts, and special projects paired with Wednesday Movie Nights. August activities include tie-dye, handmade photo frames, mini clay art, DIY jellyfish, beaded bracelets, bubble wands, and more.

Regular park activities take place Monday through Thursday from 2:00–4:00 PM. Friday activities at Civic Park are held from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, and Wednesday Movie Night art pairings run from 7:00–8:00 PM.

All activities are free, and no registration is required. Please review the flyer for specific dates, activities, and park locations. Programs may be canceled due to extreme heat or severe weather.

Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.

Art in the Park continues throughout July! Join the Central Jersey Arts Council for free, hands-on arts and crafts in Carteret’s local parks. From handmade photo frames and DIY charms to beaded bracelets, wind chimes, sun catchers, and movie-night art pairings, there’s something creative for everyone.

Most park activities take place from 2:00–4:00 PM, with Friday sessions at Civic Park from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. No registration is required; just stop by and create with us!

Please review the flyer for the complete schedule, locations, and activity details. Severe heat or stormy weather may result in relocation or cancellation.

Creativity was in full bloom at Art in the Park as our young artists brought the world of Minecraft to life by creating their very own Minecraft flowers! It was great to see so many participants using their imagination, building, crafting, and taking home a creation they were proud of.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, we can’t wait to see you at our next Art in the Park activity as we continue bringing free, hands-on arts programming to our community.
