Juneteenth is a day that commemorates June 19, 1865- the day enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

🔥 Fresh air, friendly competition, and plenty of movement! Impact Center members took advantage of the beautiful weather by getting outside and staying active through a variety of sports and games.

Can it hold the weight? 🏗️Members at Perry put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building bridges before seeing if they could support a 32-ounce water bottle.

Through problem-solving and a little trial and error, they discovered what it takes to create a strong structure.

The first-ever SMART Girls Summit was one for the books!! 💖💅✨

Members spent the day connecting, creating, learning, and building confidence through activities designed just for them.

Three different generations have paved the way for one another, building something special from the ground up. What started as a soccer club with nothing more than hope, passion, and a dream of being part of something bigger has grown into something truly remarkable.

🏆 For the first time in our club’s history, our team has placed BGC on the state’s list of champions.

When we began this journey in the fall, we knew we were capable of more, but things didn’t click. We finished our season near the bottom of the standings. Instead of allowing that season to define us, we went back to the drawing board. We worked harder, believed more, and made a commitment to make the spring season our best yet.

And that’s exactly what this incredible group of athletes did.

Finishing first in our division earned us a spot in the Top 4 Tournament, and we walked away as champions.

Lluri, thank you for all your time and dedication to this team.
Boys, thank you for believing in yourselves, in each other, and in this club. 💙⚽️

💖 Every girl deserves the opportunity to grow in confidence, build meaningful connections, and know her value.

Our Smart Girls Summit served as a special celebration and graduation for the 55 girls in grades 4–6 who participated in this year's Smart Girls Program. Members enjoyed a day of self-care, self-expression, mentorship, and empowerment through activities including personalized pouch decorating, affirmation-making, braiding, spa, nail stations, and more.

A highlight of the day was hearing from admin staff (former Club members) Coral and Maria, who shared their personal stories and encouragement, along with advice from our Impact Center Members during a special Q&A panel.

Thank you to our Impact Center Members for preparing and serving food for the event, our volunteers Victoria and Aniyah, for helping make the day so special, and to SpaBleu, Dove, and Vagisil for their generous donations that helped provide girls with hygiene products, self-care items, and other take-home products!

We are proud to celebrate these amazing girls and grateful to everyone who helped create a memorable and empowering experience. ✨

A day of adventure and a familiar face! ☀️Our Lake in the Hills members recently enjoyed a fun-filled camp experience packed with new activities and outdoor exploration!

We also wanted to take a moment to introduce (or reintroduce!) our Lake in the Hills Director, Ashley G. Many of our families already know her dedication to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where members can learn, grow, and thrive each day.
