In celebration of STARS (Specialized Therapy and Related Services) 10 year anniversary, an additional 11 classroom teachers are being sponsored from the contest list who have supported us in our journey.

Now it’s time for the reveal.

🏁🏆 INTRODUCING THE KIDS’ CHOICE AWARD! 🏆🏁

For the first time at the King Coal Charles Workman Memorial Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show, we’re putting one very important decision in the hands of some of our youngest car show fans!

Kids attending the show will have the opportunity to look over the field and vote for their favorite ride of the day.

🚗 Car?
🛻 Truck?
🏍️ Motorcycle?

They’re all eligible.

And the vehicle receiving the most votes will earn something completely different from the rest of our 2026 hardware — the King Coal Kids’ Choice Award, featuring a commemorative stein filled with coal as a tribute to the heritage behind the King Coal celebration. 👑⛏️

No judging sheets.
No scoring system.
No adults making the call.

STARS Foundation is beyond appreciative of all the support we have recieved for our annual golf outing which will be held on July 11th. Anyone that is interested in donating items for our raffle, we will be accepting donations until Wednesday, July 8th.

Night at the Barnyard is such a fun event. It’s also a great way to learn about local resources and participate in some fun activities.

One of my favorite days of the year!! We have so many things planned for this night! New additions to be announced very soon. But most importantly our animal friends are back !
