The Special Education Community Advisory Committee for San Juan Unified School District

The San Juan Unified School District Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a Board of Education-approved committee. The CAC includes parents, community members, students and District staff. The CAC works with San Juan staff to advise the District and the Board concerning services for students with disabilities. The CAC meets on the third Wednesday of every month (September-May) from 6:30-8:30pm

At our meeting last Wednesday, the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael presented $400 to the San Juan Unified School District Deaf & Hard of Hearing Program. The program serves students from infancy through age 22. They will be using the money to purchase items that help parents better understand language acquisition and American Sign Language.
