Join us for an evening of connection, encouragement, and support with other parents and caregivers who understand the unique experience of having a baby in the NICU or navigating life after a NICU stay.

This is a safe, welcoming space to share, listen, and simply be with people who get it.

As the last days of school arrive and summer begins, we're already looking ahead to supporting parents and families as they prepare for the new school year.

A backpack is more than a backpack.

For a child, it can mean walking into school prepared, included, and confident. For a parent, it can mean one less burden during a season that can feel overwhelming and expensive.

Kids In Need Foundation reports that 2 in 3 students start the school year without school supplies, and 100% of teachers report spending their own money on essential classroom supplies. CDC also reports that parent engagement in schools is linked to better student behavior, higher academic achievement, and stronger social skills.

When we support back-to-school needs, we support the whole family.

The Nest and Carroll Township Police Department are collecting backpacks, school supplies, hygiene items, and donations to help local families start the school year with more confidence and less stress.

You can donate by dropping items in the collection bin at:
Carroll Township Police Department
555 Chestnut Grove Rd.
Dillsburg, PA 17019

You can also donate through GiveButter:
https://givebutter.com/back-to-school-drive-rfl9ds

Stay tuned for two fun, kid-friendly local collection days happening this summer!

Expecting a baby can be one of the most emotional and transformative seasons a family experiences.

Kendra Kwiatkowski has spent years supporting individuals through emotional and behavioral challenges — both in her professional work as a Licensed Professional Counselor and through her own lived experience as a mother of two.

Through her work across behavioral intervention, crisis services, intensive outpatient care, and private practice, Kendra is deeply committed to helping parents feel supported, understood, and less alone as they navigate pregnancy and the identity shifts that come with it.

Beginning this Wednesday, Kendra will be facilitating The Nest’s Expecting Together Support Circle — a welcoming space for expecting parents to connect, share honestly, and feel held through this transition into parenthood.

Join us June 10th from 5:30–7:00 PM at Kind Spaces Collective
📍 2578 Interstate Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110

This is a monthly support circle held every second Wednesday.

This June, we’re making space to say something simple: dads need support, too.

We see the dads packing diaper bags, wearing their babies, doing bedtime, showing up to appointments, learning as they go, and breaking patterns they may have never seen modeled before.

Fatherhood is changing, and that deserves to be supported, not just celebrated.

At The Nest, we believe every parent deserves connection, trusted resources, and a soft place to land.

Dads included. 🤍
