Wondering where the proceeds from our fundraisers go? We have many projects in the works in conjunction with the City of Carbondale and other local nonprofit organiztions to help revitalize Downtown Carbondale. One of the first that we're aiming to accomplish is the painting of crosswalks along Main and Church Streets to improve pedestrial safety and beautify our business district.

Join us in Downtown Carbondale on Saturday November 7th at the Carbondalien Festival as we hold our second annual Crash Site Cash fundraiser. Squares are $20 each, with only 500 squares being sold. The winner will receive up to a potential prize of $5,000. The UFO drop will be held at Dusk at Russell Park, site of the infamous 1974 incident.

We will be downtown at the festival selling tickets and tickets are available now at the Peanut Bar & Cashew Lounge as well as at the offices of Brian T. Kelly, CPA & Associates, LLC. Tickets are also available from any board member.

Excited to have our efforts highlighted in Sunday's edition of The Scranton Times-Tribune. Stay tuned as we and other community partners work to make Carbondale a better place to live, work, and visit.

Downtown Carbondale’s revitalization is all according to plan.

Excited to be welcoming Todd Pousley to our organization as our Executive Director. He'll be helping us impliment the strategic plan for the downtown area and help us apply to be a Main Street Community, which opens the door for funding sources.

Carbondale will use a $300,000 grant to create a new economic development director position intended to oversee the city’s long-term revitalization
