Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. We are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe, temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory. These animals are housed in foster homes until permanent, loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption here on Facebook. They are also listed at www.forgottenfelinesff.petfinder.com as well as Adopt A pet. You can see many adoptable kitties in our adoption centers in Jones Valley PetSmart and University Drive PetSmart!

Introducing OREO... DOB est 6/20/2026, male, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped...

OREO was an adorable singleton kitten at Huntsville Animal Services this summer, who needed rescuing and a buddy of his own. He was pulled to join cute little SNICKERS who was found with an injured ear and in need of vet care and rescuing. Young kittens definitely need companionship and these two are the cutest, silliest pair! They will provide great entertainment and they LOVE people. They have not yet been formally introduced to the older cats although a couple of the adult cats have sneaked in to meet them and no drama occurred. They should blend well into most any home! SNICKERS & OREO are VERY bonded – we do want them to be Adopted Together! If you're interested in meeting adorable SNICKERS & OREO, please EMAIL [email protected] or go ahead and fill out an application to adopt, at http://tinyurl.com/FFHSVApp

If you see them during a stay at the Jones Valley Petsmart, you may also call their foster direct from their cage card!

Introducing SNICKERS... DOB est 7/5/2026, female, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped...

SNICKERS was found by a Good Samaritan in a drainage ditch near his apartment complex in SW Huntsville after hearing her pitiful cries for help. Her right ear was burned from possibly being under the hood of a vehicle. He contacted Forgotten Felines for help. Her ear is now healed and she’s a beautiful, sweet little tortie ready for her Forever Home. She was very lonely with no other kittens her age to play with in her foster home, so a black & white male kitten (OREO) was pulled from Huntsville Animal Services as a playmate and they soon bonded. OREO is about two weeks older & foster mom was afraid he may be rough with SNICKERS, but she had nothing to worry about… At first sight, Snickers hissed at Oreo, then popped him on the cheek and body slammed him. Being a typical tortie she wanted him to know who was in charge! They are now inseparable and must be Adopted Together.

SOMEONE out there MUST need a pair of SUPER helpful naptime companions!!!! This adorable little flirt is W***Y WONKA… He was found as a kitten stray during a Winter Season with a few other kitties, in a trailer park. He’s now 3 years young and is a happy little gentleman, but he would absolutely LOVE to find his very own Forever Family!! W***Y WONKA (aka Smudge) is a total SWEETHEART who is a lot of fun and has grown into his personality wonderfully! He will likely be happiest joining a Home where another kitty lives, for feline companionship. (And he has plenty of foster friends we can recommend if you'd like!) If you're interested in meeting W***Y WONKA and giving him the golden ticket to a Forever Home, please EMAIL [email protected] to arrange a time! You may also go ahead and fill out an Adoption Application at this link: http://tinyurl.com/FFHSVApp
