Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. We are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/s

paying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe, temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory. These animals are housed in foster homes until permanent, loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption here on Facebook. They are also listed at www.forgottenfelinesff.petfinder.com as well as Adopt A pet. You can see many adoptable kitties in our adoption centers in Jones Valley PetSmart and University Drive PetSmart!

Introducing SPICE... DOB est 5/7/2025, male, neutered, vaccinated...

SPICE& his brother CINNAMON were among several kitties that joined our rescue last year when they were in need of a stable, safe future. These two almost identical boys have grown into such ADORABLE sweethearts, and they're Very Bonded. Because of this, they do need to be Adopted TOGETHER! They're very playful, silly, loving youngsters who are sure to make you smile!! CINNAMON (slightly darker coat) is more outgoing and loving, but once SPICE knows you and feels comfortable, he turns into a lovebug too!! Both of them can leap high buildings in a single bound, so they're totally Super Kitties!! Folks - today is a great reminder of all the work involved in Rescue... There can be MANY things going on at the same time, and it all takes time and energy from Volunteers... Ongoing at this moment - trapping of a kitty family in need, in town... So far, (the top several photos) this beautiful friendly tortie mama has been trapped, as well as 2 of her kittens. We hope to give them all a much happier, safer, longer future! Also last night and early this morning, pretty Calliope gave birth to her beautiful kittens in her loving foster home - 5 thriving sweeties with a bright future! And then we have precious Agnes... She was in dire need of medical attention, however she will not make it long... She has rapidly spreading squamous cell carcinoma and will be peacefully let go over the rainbow bridge soon, after she is shown a day or so of pure love & comfort in a foster home. She deserves this at the end at least.

All of this to REMIND everyone - we do what we can, although we cannot help everyone who is sent our way or asks for help... What all of YOU can do - is PLEASE consider if you can ADOPT and add to your loving feline Family!! We have SO many available sweethearts - let us help you find the personality or look of a kitty you can fall in love with! Adorable POPPY just turned 1 year old in April and he is hoping to find his Forever Family soon!! If you wouldn't mind a nosy, busy-body of a precious little sweetheart, POPPY may be just the boy for you!! He always needs to know WHAT is going on!! DANCER (left) & her sister BLITZEN are the last remaining kitties to be adopted, out of 10 who were abandoned by their owner in early 2025. These Tortie beauties will be just 3 years old in August. They are SUPER sweet, SUPER playful and VERY bonded. They must be Adopted Together. These girls were more shy than the others who were rescued, but they have blossomed beautifully and have gained their confidence! BLITZEN may still be a little skittish initially with a new situation but she relaxes soon with her sister near! DANCER earned her name by being quite the high leaper!! These girls really need to find the Forever Family meant for them. They get along fine with other cats and probably nice dogs since they lived among them for at least a year, but may be nervous around small children. These young girls love laser lights and other cat toys, and seats by windows are their favorite way to spend their days! WILLOW is a gorgeous blue-eyed siamese mix kitten who was pulled from a hoarding situation for hopes of a happy, healthy future! No becoming a mama in this sweet little girl's future! WILLOW may be a little timid at first, but she'll warm up quickly with love & attention! As a young girl, she does need to have another kitty friend in her future home - if you have none, we can recommend a friend to adopt with her!
