214 Children. 214 Stories. One Mission.
As we get closer to our 8th Annual Bros, Bows, & Boos Fall Fest, we want to remind everyone WHY this event means so much to us.
So far in 2026, The Den has served 214 children entering foster care in Madison County, providing an estimated $21,400–$25,680 in essential supplies.
That's 214 children who needed someone to show up for them.
Some arrived with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Some were newborn babies. Others were teenagers facing an uncertain future.
Through The Den, we provide new clothing, shoes, duffle bags, hygiene products, and other necessities to help make one of the scariest days of their lives a little less overwhelming.
And we couldn't do it without YOU. 🎃 That's why Bros, Bows, & Boos matters.
This isn't just a fall festival with costumes, candy, food, and fun. It's one of the biggest ways we raise the funds needed to keep The Den stocked and ready for the next child who walks through its doors.
Every bag we provide costs approximately $100–$120 to fill.
And the need doesn't stop when Halloween is over.
The funds we raise at this year's event will help us continue serving children throughout 2027, ensuring that when the next call comes, we're ready.
Because we don't get to choose when a child enters foster care. We don't get advance notice of what size shoes they'll need or whether they'll arrive at 2 in the afternoon or 2 in the morning.
But we CAN make sure necessities are there when they need them.
