Last weekend was one of those experiences that puts a lot of things into perspective. ❤️
I was fortunate enough to spend a few hours lending a hand as Family 4 Eternity distributed an incredible donation of apples. In just 96 hours, 45,000 pounds reached 16 localities across 3 states, making their way to families, schools, churches, food pantries and so many others.
I came home incredibly humbled by what I had witnessed, and with quite a few apples of my own.
Those apples were given freely to bless our communities, and we want to continue a little piece of that.
So this weekend, we're turning some of those apples into candied apples to give away at the stand and the farm. They're simply our way of hopefully passing that kindness along just a little bit farther.
I hope Family 4 Eternity, the Dunaways and every volunteer who gave their time know just how incredible what they accomplished was.
45,000 pounds of apples and a whole lot of kindness passed from one person to the next. 💞
